Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026. PointedToYou is an early-access service run by a small independent operator.

What we collect

• Free mini-audit form: business name, website, city and state, business type, the Google Business Profile link if you give one, and your email address.
• Purchases: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email, the amount and product, the billing details Stripe collects, and the optional business website you enter at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to serve the site and block abuse. With each form request we store the country Cloudflare reports, not your IP address.
• Public information about your business: to make the audit, we fetch public pages of the website you name and ask AI assistants local questions such as "plumber in [your city]". We do not log in to any of your accounts.

How we use it

• To produce and email the audit or report you asked for, including the free 30-day re-check that comes with paid reports.
• To send at most one follow-up email after a free audit, and to reply when you contact us.
• To prevent abuse, for example by limiting repeat requests.
• To learn which ads or websites bring people to us: with a form request we store the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (such as utm_source or an ad click ID), the website that referred you, and your optional "How did you hear about us?" answer. This is kept in your browser tab only until you close it (no cookies) and sent only if you submit the form.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising profiles. This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies; see Stripe's privacy policy.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare: hosting and storage of form requests.
• Stripe: payments.
• Our email provider: sending your audit by email.
• AI providers such as OpenAI: they receive your business name, city and the questions we ask. They do not receive your email address.

How long we keep it

We keep audit requests, reports and order records for up to 12 months so we can run your re-check and answer questions, then delete them. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, except records we must keep for tax or accounting.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or tell us to stop emailing you.
